The Bancroft Horticultural Society hopes more gardeners will spring into action, and help them beautify the town.
Members say they’re hoping more people will join the group, which works on local projects.
Director Elaine Visser says the group is getting ready for a busy growing season.
“We maintain the post office, we maintain Millennium Park, we’re looking forward to the possibility of new gardens,” she says. “It’s all volunteer. We meet, have a little laugh. It’s fun.”
