Earthscapes exhibit at AGB is like a ‘visual feast’

A new exhibition at the Art Gallery Bancroft is intended to make you think about the state of our planet.

The Gallery is showing the work of Laurie O’Reilly. The exhibit, called Earthscapes, starts with an opening reception on Thursday, April 6th at 7:30 p.m.

The Art Gallery’s Mary Williams says O’Reilly has a “spectacular body of work” and it’s a “visual feast unlike any A.G.B. show before.” She uses wax painting and sculpture techniques to create three-dimensional pieces that provoke a response from the viewer.

Earthscapes will remain on display until April 29. The Art Gallery of Bancroft, located at 10 Flint Avenue, has resumed regular hours. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays.
