If you notice something that looks like an emergency at Maynooth Public School on Saturday, there’s no reason to worry
The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board says mock disaster training is taking place there. It starts at 9 a.m. and it involves a simulation of a propane leak that’s forcing an evacuation.
Hastings Highlands firefighters will be there, but students and most staff will not. And the board says the exercise will not pose a danger to anyone in the area.
