Local groups in running for cash through McDougall Community Contest

Videos are beginning to pour in for an online contest that can help community groups and projects win cash.

The McDougall Community Contest has started and entries will be received up to Tuesday, May 23.

The contest, run by the Ontario-wide insurance company, asks groups to submit a video that shows the importance of the work they do.

The public then votes for winners between May 24 and 31. The top prize is $5,000 and there’s runner-up prizes of $3,000 and $2,000.
