With nice spring weather, we also have lots of art in the community to brighten up our lives.
The works of Robert Pearson are being shown at A Place For The Arts in Bancroft. The gallery, called Because I Can, shows pastel, oil and charcoal works.
It remains on display until May 28 and he’ll be on site on Saturday, May 20 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. to meet with visitors.
Next month, the gallery will show the work of 14 different local artists, who are participating in this fall’s Bancroft Studio Tour. An opening reception for that gallery takes place, Thursday, June 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
