Hastings County will have a new man at the top, starting next month.
The County has announced the hiring of Connor Dorey as its next Chief Administrative Officer.
The CAO position is the top administrative job within the County, meaning he’ll oversee staff who deliver programs such as social services, paramedic services and economic development.
Dorey begins the role on June 1 and replaces long-time CAO Jim Pine, who’s retiring.
Dorey has been the County’s Director of Community and Human Services, since the fall of 2022. He previously worked in several leadership roles with Lennox & Addington County.
