The fire danger rating in the town of Bancroft remains at night burning only. Small campfires are allowed from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. However, no burn permits will be issued until further notice.
Deputy Fire Chief Matt Musclow reminds residents that they must be in care and control of fires at all times and that includes making sure your fire is properly extinguished. Pour water on it, stir it and put more water on it.
