A fall tradition for Bancroft school families is coming up. York River Public School’s Otterpalooza is on Thursday, Oct. 5.
The festival runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will raise funds for York River students, who are nicknamed the Otters.
The evening will include games such as turkey curling, a barbecue, a pie auction, a silent auction and more.
York River students are already selling raffle tickets for $1 in the community as part of the event. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn at the end of the night.
The funds raised will go towards technology and activities for students in the Kindergarten-to-Grade 6 school.
