Bancroft has a new employee in a key role.
Jake Krupa has been hired as the Manager of Infrastructure and Capital Projects.
Mayor Paul Jenkins announced the hire at Tuesday’s council meeting.
He said Krupa will be involved in big projects, such as the completion of the downtown revitalization plan and construction of the new library and housing project.
The Manager of Infrastructure and Capital Projects role is a newly created position by the town and is meant to, in part, replace the former Public Works Director position.
The town created the position so a manager could be involved in planning and administering large infrastructure projects.
