Social agencies that need financial support can now make appeals to the United Way Hastings & Prince Edward.
The fundraising organization has opened its application process.
Applications can be sent through the United Way’s website. The deadline is December 8.
To be successful, the agency must meet several criteria. It must serve people in Hastings & Prince Edward counties and its vision must align with the United Way’s Community Impact Strategy.
Every year, the United Way runs a fall campaign to support agencies that may not have the ability to fundraise on their own.
This year’s campaign is underway and has a goal of raising $2.2 million by the end of January.
