Carlow-Mayo Mayor vows to learn following Integrity Commissioner report

Carlow-Mayo’s mayor says he accepts the Integrity Commissioner report that called for him to be reprimanded for breaching a Municipal Code of Conduct.

Mayor Randy Wallace issued a statement Monday Oct. 30, saying, “I am passionate about Carlow-Mayo Township and as Mayor I want to do what is best for our residents.”

“I acknowledge that I continue to learn in the role as Mayor and it is my hope that we can move forward together for the benefit of our Township. I want to thank the residents of Carlow-Mayo who have reached out to me in support at this time.”

The report, issued Sept. 30th, showed outcomes of seven investigations. In three of those investigations, Wallace was found to have breached the Code.

The sixth and seventh investigations concluded that Wallace was “bullying and harassing staff on multiple occasions.”
