Some local hockey champions have been crowned
The Bancroft Jets Under-11 team won the Mineral Capital Cup tournament, which the team hosted at the North Hastings Community Centre on Saturday.
The Jets beat the Highland Storm, 4-3, in the A final.
The Barry’s Bay Bears won the A championship in the Under 13-division. They beat the Highland Storm in the final.
The Jets Under 13 team was the B finalist, after losing a close game to the Tweed Hawks.
