Vehicles may soon have to drive slower on Detlor Road.
Bancroft council voted to direct staff to look into lowering the speed on the rural road.
The motion asked staff to “engage stakeholders in a consultation” and then draft a bylaw for review.
No timeline was given.
Detlor Road connects Hwy. 62 in the L’Amable area with Hwy. 28, east of Bancroft’s urban area. The current posted speed is 50 km/h, by the L’Amable intersection.
