Our local health unit is reporting West Nile activity in Bloomfield.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says it has found a pool of mosquitoes with West Nile, the first sign of the virus this summer. It’s reminding the public to cover up and wear insect repellent when heading outside at dawn or dusk. Don’t leave standing water outside and have screens on your windows so mosquitoes don’t get in.
