The mobile unit slated to be used as an overnight warm room was transported to Bancroft from Belleville on Tuesday.
The mobile room is currently being set up at its location off Cleak street, in the old Mckaskies parking lot.
Moose FM spoke with the job leader about the process of getting the unit assembled and up and running:
“Today we’ll finish the metal skirting, then we’ll get the landings and the stairs installed. Then an electrician going to come today to get the electrical connected to it, then the plumbers are coming today to connect all the plumbing back up into the holding tanks. And thats our scope of work.”
The crew expects to finish installing the unit within the next couple of days, until it is ready to open a temporary warm room is available at the Bancroft bible chapel.
