The first scheduled CAT scan is slated for January 29. This, according to Back The Cat Chair Kim Bishop. She says they are working towards having around-the-clock availability by March.
“This is a huge transformation for Healthcare in North Hastings,” she adds. She also explained that the new CT scanner will be an important tool to bring doctors to the area.
Back The Cat is the group that fundraised to bring in the $2.5 million needed to bring the CT scanner to Bancroft.
According to their website, $150,000 of their fundraising goal remains.
