At the January 31rst event of 100 women who care The North Hastings Fish Hatchery was awarded the $5000 that was raised.
Every month the event gathers women together who donate $100 each and vote between three presenting nonprofits.
This month Graphite Bible Camp, Bancroft Lions club and the fish hatchery were the contenders.
The Hatchery works to keep healthy fish populations in our lakes and make sure they are sustained for future generations.
Last month Maggie’s resource center was awarded the amount of $6100.
Maggies resource center provides services and supports to women and children in situations of violence.
