Maple Leaf snow skimmers have gotten both Lake st Peter and Baptiste lakes staked. This means that their trails are now 100 percent open as long as weather permits.
Snow Skimmer Steve Lang said it was a great day on the lake. The achieivement marks an incredible amount of planning, organizing and effort of the MLSS board and countless volunteers.
Everyone is also reminded to stay on the staked portion of the trails where ice thickness has been measured. According to the snow skimmers, some other areas are not good.
