Prince Edward-Hastings MP Daryl Kramp was in-town to announce more than $200,000 in funding for North Hastings projects today.
His first stop was the Bancroft library, to announce $20,000 for window and door improvements. Kramp announced $37,125 for energy upgrades to the Faraday Community Centre. He announced $62,000 for repairs to the Jack Brown Airport. Kramp’s last stop of the day was at the North Hastings Community Centre, where he announced $100,000 towards a new roof.
Funding is through the government’s Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program. It supports projects that celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation in 2017.
