Hastings Highlands says to be prepared for some delays on South Baptiste lake road  

Culvert replacement started on April 15th on South Baptiste.

The township says residents can expect some dust, noise and traffic delays. 

This is part of a broader capital roads project that will be making improvements from “Y” Road to Clarke Road. 

This project will include roadside brushing, culvert replacement, pulverizing of the existing road surface, and paving and resurfacing. 

The roadside brushing began on April 1st. Culvert replacement began April 15th.  

Road resurfacing, pulverizing and paving is scheduled to start in June.
