Popular and enduring folksinger Valdy is performing in Bancroft tonight.
He has toured for over 37 years and has 16 albums, 22 singles, 4 Gold Records and has sold nearly half a million units worldwide.
While his most well-known song is arguably the 1970’s hit “Play Me a Rock and roll song” he has stayed true to the folksong craft and what shines are his homegrown performances that connect with the audience through heartfelt songwriting, skilled guitar playing and engaging banter.
Valdy is currently on tour across Canada.
He will play Picton this Saturday and MacDonalds corners on Sunday before returning to BC.
