Shelby Kramp-Neuman, Member of Parliament for Hastings-Lennox and Addington, has been appointed to the role of Shadow Minister for Women, Gender Equality, and Youth.
In a recent statement she said that she was thankful to be entrusted with the role. She had previously served as Associate Shadow Minister for National Defense.
Kramp-Newman was in the area this Monday. She paid a visit to the Universal Seal plant which is a polyurethane seal factory in the hills of Monteagle that exports products across the globe.
According to social media, after touring the facility to discuss the opportunities and obstacles they face, she stopped by Birds Creek Public School for an impromptu visit with the grade 5/6 class.
