Veda Hille performs at up-and-coming Maynooth venue: The United Church

St Andrew’s Bethel United Church in Maynooth set the stage for multi-faceted musician, composer and theatrical performer Veda Hille Monday night.

Hille, who has been performing across Canada since the 1990’s, brought a heartwarming and engaging one-hour set to a delighted audience ahead of her upcoming tour dates in Toronto and Montreal.

This was the first event hosted by The Rumor Mill Arts Center and My Bancroft Now spoke with coordinator Loree Lawrence about how the show came about,

“I knew she was performing in Toronto and Montreal and I just said, well, why don’t you come and play in Maynooth?” asked Lawrence.

“We are planning on holding tons of different events, music and film and talks, et cetera under the auspices of The Rumor Mill Arts Center. So, it’s just such a delight to have her be the first performance in this unveiling of the center”
