The Town of Bancroft is looking to fill one council spot.
The Town says that Council has “determined through resolution to fill this vacancy by appointment through a Call for Applications”
The term of the position is from the date of appointment until November 2026.
The Town is inviting those interested to a candidate information session on Wednesday at 6 p.m., at the Bancroft Municipal Offices at 8 Hastings Heritage Way.
Applications will be accepted by the Clerk’s office during regular business hours until May 13, at 3 p.m.

The position was previously held by Barry McGibbon, who resigned due to a career change.
At a recent council meeting Mayor Paul Jenkins thanked him for his valuable service and knowledge over his time on council.
