A 59 year-old Pickering man is dead after a snowmobile crash on Friday. Haliburton OPP, along with Haliburton County EMS and the Dysart et al Fire Department were called to the collision on Boice Bradley Drive late Friday evening. A snowmobile operator had lost control of his 2002 Polaris and struck a tree. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to Haliburton Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries. The victim has been identified as Donald Parker.
