Bancroft OPP say two local women are happy after family heirlooms were recently returned to them following a January break-in.
Bancroft detachment spokesperson Joel Devenish said recovered heirlooms were related to a case involving a suspicious vehicle check in January.
“It’s moments like this that remind officers about the significance of what we do.” OPP said in a social media post on Wednesday.
The items were stolen from a family cottage and upon providing a list to Bancroft police, OPP “connected the dots” to the earlier case.
