Two Highlands East residents have been was arrested charged with assault as a result of a domestic complaint. Early Sunday morning Bancroft OPP officers were called to a home in the Highland East where they discovered that there had been a fight and the officers arrested two persons. A 39 year-old Highlands East man has been charged with assault, and a 33 year-old Highlands East woman has also been charged with assault. Both have a Bancroft court date in March. The incident is a domestic investigation and the names of the charged persons are not being released.
