On July 9, just after 6:30 p.m., Frontenac OPP members responded to a golf cart roll over.
A passerby had found the golf cart in a ditch.
The vehicle was travelling along Ardoch Road and ended up off the highway, near Canoe Path, in Ardoch, which is north of Highway 7 and east of Apsley.
North Frontenac Fire Service assisted officers to free the driver from the vehicle.
The highway was closed for approximately three hours.
Frontenac OPP, with the assistance of the Coroners Office of Ontario, continue to investigate the cause of this collision.
A 44-year-old male, from Apsley, died as a result. Anyone who witnessed this incident, or has video or information to provide is asked to call the OPP Communications Centre 1-888-310-1122 for Frontenac OPP.
