A truck caught fire in the small parking lot across from Vance Motors, near Tammy’s hair care this afternoon at around 5:30.
MooseFM spoke with Sarah and Meagan from Dixie Lee who said that they saw thick black smoke just after 5:30 and could smell a ‘burning plastic’ smell.
They said that Hastings Street (Main st.) remained closed for about half an hour and emergency services were on site.
All roads in the area are open.
