The Bancroft Jets are letting the community know to “get ready for an action-packed weekend of hockey.”
Friday, the Murphy’s Septic U9 MD team heads to Otonabee to take on the Wolves for a 6 p.m. puck drop, while a bit later both the Granite U13 and Bierworth Redimix U15 teams travel to Campbellford to challenge the Colts.
Saturday brings a couple of home openers when the Murphy’s Septic U9 MD crew takes on Ennismore at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Subway/Vito’s U11 team facing Gananoque at 4:30 p.m.
The Mieske U18 squad squares off against the Brighton Bolts at 6 p.m.
The weekend wraps up on Sunday with the Murphy’s Septic U9 MD team back in action at home against the Lakefield Chiefs at 9:30 a.m.
Later that day, the Northern Rural Net U13 Leo Jets kick off their season with a home game against the Campbellford Colts.
