OPP ask for public help after cyclist assaulted in Pembroke

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is asking for the public’s help in locating the person or people who recently assaulted a cyclist in Pembroke.

Around midnight on December 1, OPP say that a cyclist travelling on Pembroke Street East was approached by a dark-coloured vehicle.

An object was then thrown at the cyclist who was struck in the head.

According to OPP they suffered injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The OPP is asking anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the incident to report it to the OPP or crimestoppers.
