A single-vehicle crash in Madoc Township has led to impaired driving charges.
Last Saturday, just before 6 p.m., Central Hastings OPP were dispatched to a collision at the intersection of Highway 7 and Cooper Road.
A vehicle left the road, collided with a hydro pole and landed in the ditch.
The driver was reported to be attempting to drive the vehicle out of the ditch.
A Madoc man was arrested and charged with impaired driving.
The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
