The town of Bancroft says they have received a number of calls and complaints regarding garbage and recycling pickup on Dec.18.
They say that they wish to remind everyone that garbage and recycling need to be at the curb or the end of driveways no later than 7 a.m. for pick up.
The Town says that the 7 a.m. pick-up is to allow them to deal with things like equipment breakdowns, weather events, and other unexpected circumstances, citing a ‘current equipment breakdown’ that they say they are working through.
According to the Town, no additional collections are scheduled for those that missed collection on Dec. 18.
For those that missed pick-up on the18th, the waste site is open Friday from 7 a.m. until noon and Saturday and Sunday until 4 pm.
