Anyone looking to learn more about hydroelectric operations in our area should head to Barry’s Bay on Feb. 12.
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is currently hosting annual information sessions.
A session will be held at the Barry’s Bay Legion Branch 406 on Feb. 12, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., providing information about power generation in the area.
According to OPG, more than 10,000 employees generate roughly half of Ontario’s electricity needs from a combination of nuclear, hydro, solar, biomass, and natural gas.
