Just after 8 p.m. last night OPP responded to the report of a house fire on Meadow Court in Bancroft.
The house was fully engulfed in flames when emergency responders arrived on scene.
The fire dept says they were able to get the fire under control fairly quickly, preventing the spread to nearby homes.
The fire department, OPP and forensics are continuing to investigate
