OPP say the tragedy remains unsolved.
Bernice Billings was 78-years-old when she died in the collision on Inglis Street in Barry’s Bay on Feb. 5, 2005, sometime between 8:05 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Investigators are urging anyone with information about the tragedy to come forward.
Killaloe OPP, other detachments and Renfrew County OPP Crime Unit have followed up on multiple tips and leads over the years, but OPP say none have resulted in finding the person responsible.
The investigation is now being conducted by Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the coroner’s office and forensic pathology.
OPP say that investigators want to hear from anyone with information who has not yet spoken with police.
