One more name has been added to the ballot in Hastings, Lennox and Addington.
Glenn Tyrell from Madoc has confirmed to MooseFM that he is running in our riding for the New Blue Party.
Tyrell says he plans to be at the All Candidates meet next Thursday in Bancroft, along with the other confirmed candidates Jessica Zielke of the New Democratic Party, Lynne Rigby of the Liberal Party, and Michael Holbrook of the Green Party.
Conservative candidate Ric Bresee has not confirmed he will attend the meet.
It is also unknown if the Ontario Party’s Derek Sloan will attend.
The all candidates meet is taking place Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at North Hasting High School in Bancroft.
The election is taking place on Feb. 27.
