The Art Gallery of Bancroft’s (AGB) most important fundraiser of the year’ kicked off last Friday.
The inaugural 43 Online Auction celebrates 43 years as a volunteer-run public gallery in Bancroft, Ontario.
The auction will support exhibitions as well as the gallery’s educational and community outreach programs.
Along with the auction the AGB is hosting a ‘Mystery Art Grab’, which features 10” x 10” artworks created by professional artists specifically for this event. A total of 43 works are signed on the back to preserve the mystery. You can view the list of participating artists at the AGB.
Bidding for the online auction opened at noon on Valentines Day and will end at 5 p.m. on March 1, during a party at the gallery that all are welcome to attend.
