The Town of Bancroft is letting residents know that due to the forecasted icy road conditions, particularly on side roads, waste collection for Bancroft today will be limited to the main roads only.
If conditions do improve, staff will attempt to complete collection in other areas if it is safe to do so.
They say, however, that they may not get to every residence today.
In the event this happens, the town says that regular collection will resume next Wednesday.
If you’re recycling will not fit in blue bins, please put it in clear plastic bags for collection next week only.
