The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit has charged five people after a seizure of illegal drugs in Bancroft.
On Tuesday, street crime unit officers and Bancroft OPP, along with members of emergency and tactical response teams, executed a search warrant at a residence on Stimears Lake Road.
Morphine and hydromorphone pills were seized, as well as a quantity of unidentified white powder, which has been sent for testing.
Officers also seized over $4000 in cash, a crossbow and other items typically associated with drug trafficking.
5 people are facing a range of charges including trafficking, possession and theft.
All five were held in custody until bail hearings in Belleville
