Canada has it 24th Prime Minister.
The newly crowned Liberal leader was sworn in this morning (Fri) at Rideau Hall.
On his way into the ceremony, Carney told reporters they’re a “very focused government — that’s focused on action”.
The new, leaner, federal cabinet includes 23 ministers.
Chrystia Freeland, who ran against Carney for the leadership, is back in cabinet as Minister of Transport and Internal Trade.
Other key posts include Dominic LeBlanc, as Minister of International Trade and Intergovernmental Affairs, Foreign Affairs minister Mélanie Joly and Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne.
