Upper Ottawa Valley OPP along with OPP from Renfrew and Ottawa conducted a traffic initiative late last week on Highway 17.
On March 14, OPP officers laid a total of 64 charges, with another 19 written warnings also issued.
Speeding accounted for 58 of the 64 charges. Others included driving without insurance, stunt driving and failing to move over for an emergency vehicle.
