It was a lively morning at Bancroft’s Village Playhouse this past Saturday as the March Break Theatre Camp kids performed their show We Are All Made of Stars.
The half-hour show featured a variety of scenes, monologues and skits and even some gymnastics.
Introducing the show to the audience, camp directors Rebecca Marlin and Nichole Norman explained how the kids had a role in not just performing the show but also creating it.
“A lot of the stuff is very child directed. They did a lot of the work themselves. We just kind of did a little bit of guiding… We even have some original works where children wrote their own scenes and their own songs. And we’re very, very excited for you guys to see all the hard work that they’ve done.” said Marlin.
Norman and Marlin have worked together in youth programs for over a decade after first meeting in a University fine arts program.

The next kids camp at the Village Playhouse will be this summer.
