Half load restrictions are now in place in the Town of Bancroft.
This means that commercial vehicles are not allowed to carry more than five-tons per single axle.
The half-load restrictions reduce the potential for any unnecessary road repairs or reconstruction during the spring thaw.
The restrictions took effect March 14.
