Bancroft OPP has charged two people following a report that they were digging up copper wire.
Last Friday, just after 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a location in Bancroft, where the investigation revealed that copper wire, which had been used for an electrical unit, had been cut.
Two people were charged with theft under $5000 and Mischief.
One person was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Belleville today. The other person plead guilty to charges.
