Thrift Warehouse Bancroft is celebrating 10 years in the community.
The thrift shop is inviting everyone out to celebrate Friday, with cake and a 35 per cent store-wide discount.
Thrift Warehouse Bancroft is a social enterprise of SIRCH Community Services.
According to SIRCH, net profits from the store are reinvested into programs and services that benefit residents of North Hastings, including SIRCH’s community kitchen, which prepares and distributes nutritious meals every month, free, to those in need.
The program works with volunteers to help bring hot meals to the unhoused community, aims to ‘offer hope to those battling illness, homelessness, fragility or financial hardships.’
Thrift Warehouse Bancroft is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
