Children who attend Birds Creek Public School should NOT go to school today.
The school is experiencing a power outage following yesterdays wind event.
Hastings and Prince Edward District School board had this to say:
“Bird’s Creek Public School is closed today due to having no power. According to Hydro One, the estimated restoration time is 11:00 tonight. Families should not send their children to school today. Buses [for Birds Creek] are cancelled.”
