The first annual Pancake Breakfast is set for this Saturday at Bancroft Legion Branch 181, and organizers say it’s a great way to kick off the Mother’s day weekend, or, just enjoy a delicious meal.
Legion communications liaison Larran Thompson says the breakfast isn’t just for those celebrating moms, but for anyone looking to get out for a meal.
“It’s something to do just before Mother’s Day,” Thompson said. “Everybody gets busy going here, there and everywhere, but this is for people who just want to come in—whether they’re celebrating or not.”
The Pancake Breakfast runs from 8 to 11 a.m. on May 10 and includes pancakes, sausages, eggs, juice, tea and coffee.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
