North Hastings High School is opening its doors to Grade 6 students and their families Thursday for a special open house aimed at introducing future students to the school.
Hosted in the North Hastings High School gym, the event offers a first-hand look at what Grade 6 students can expect as they prepare to join the school’s Grade 7/ 8 middle school in September.
The evening will offer tours, displays and staff meet-and-greets. The start time for the event has been moved to 5:30 p.m. to accommodate other community events happening the same evening.
School officials encourage all eligible families from feeder schools in the area to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the programs and resources available.
