There are just a few days left to buy tickets in the first ever Hospice North Hastings 50/50 fundraiser.
The draw aims to raise important funds for hospice, with the first monthly jackpot scheduled to be drawn Monday, June 2, with ticket purchases available online until the day before the draw.
Proceeds are split evenly between the winning ticket holder and Hospice North Hastings.
As of Wednesday morning the jackpot is nearing $4,000.

The organization says the fundraiser will help support end-of-life care services including pain management, emotional support, and bereavement care for families.
“We’re very excited” added board chair Michael Brooks. “It’s fully online, across the province, and has the potential to be one of the largest jackpots in North Hastings.”
The fundraiser is open to residents across Ontario, and organizers are hoping to generate substantial support thanks to its wide reach.
“This is a simple yet impactful way to give back,” organizers said. “Every ticket purchased helps us continue to provide compassionate, community-based hospice care.”
